Working knowledge/experience in development and management of modern web applications (using PHP, HTML/CSS, JS).
Communicate clearly at all levels: corporate and end user clients with new product development and deployment. Must speak fluent English.
Develop code using PHP (Laravel framework) to implement new functionality, resolve defects, improve performance.
Develop unit tests using PHPUnit for implementation into continuous integration work-flow.
Work in an Agile (SCRUM) shop and participate in daily stand-ups.
Communicate and collaborate with other developers and team lead to identify and help resolve issues.
Provide technical support to end users and program support team.
Assist in maintenance of servers (MS/Linux), backups, security systems, firewalls, etc.
Maintain and improve the continuous integration pipeline to ensure a high degree of code quality.
Perform other duties as required.
Ability to safeguard ACC ACC information as confidential.
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a recognized College or University.
Solid PHP experience including the PHPUnit testing framework.
Working experience with multiple OS (Linux, Windows, Mac, Android, iOS) beneficial.
Experience with MySQL.
Experience with Selenium nice to have.
Familiar with Agile development processes (SCRUM) and comfortable working with a ticketing system (Jira) to help achieve biweekly sprint goals.
Experience with continuous integration processes.
Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision. Requires high level of self motivation with commitment to produce exceptional quality of work under pressure and with interruptions.
